Stunning, Streamlined Cabinet
The LX-10’s polished ebony and satin-black finish is a gorgeous hybrid. The look is strong and bold, yet the depth of the piano is just 45.3cm. The fallboard’s interior has a mirror finish that reflects the keyboard and moving fingers in the style of a grand piano, bringing a sense of visual enjoyment to your playing. The fallboard can be used as a music rest when opened. It closes smoothly and gently, combining both safety and aesthetic grace. In addition to its beautiful appearance, the top lid also shapes the piano’s overall tonal character.
Full Concert-Grand Piano Sounds
From its powerful low range to its brilliant high range, the sounds of the LX-10 were created by painstakingly sampling world-class grand pianos, key-by-key, resulting in a stunning 88-key stereo multi-sampled piano engine. Roland’s engineers meticulously captured the sounds and resonances of each instrument, including the duplex scale resonances that emphasize string behavior and the brilliance of the mid and high range. And with its 128 polyphonic voices, the LX-10 ensures perfect performance, even during heavy damper pedal usage or during fast passages.
Natural, Rich Sound with Built-In Speakers
The LX-10 is equipped with a specially designed, high-quality speaker system. By taking advantage of the piano’s vertical cabinet chamber and installing six speakers in optimal positions, the LX-10 is able to produce sounds that emanate from the entire instrument, filling the room with rich, resonant sound.
